About Takay

New 10-seat omakase counter (2026) from founding partners Glen Kotlyarski (formerly of Jean-Georges and Miami's Michelin-starred Hidden) and Yoni Matz, opened July 10, 2026 in an 800-sq-ft space designed by Japan-based firm KTX, featuring a hinoki-wood 'Wooden Wave' installation inspired by Hokusai's The Great Wave.

The 850 sq ft room was built in Kyoto, disassembled, shipped to Miami, and reassembled on site.
